TWO PROCESSES. TWO DIFFERENT GOALS.

REFRESH THE FINISH—OR RESTORE IT.

2

A paint enhancement brings back gloss and prepares healthy paint for protection. Paint correction goes further by reducing defects that distort the way light reflects from the finish.

PAINT ENHANCEMENT

More gloss. More clarity. A cleaner foundation.

A refined machine polish cleans as it polishes, removing light oxidation, embedded staining, faint haze, and very minor surface imperfections.

  • Best for newer or well-maintained paint

  • Restores richness and reflectivity

  • Prepares the finish for ceramic coating

  • Does not chase every scratch or swirl

The goal: a brighter, glossier, coating-ready finish.

PAINT CORRECTION

Controlled defect removal. Greater refinement.

A more intensive polishing process reduces swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, etching, and other visible defects by carefully leveling a microscopic amount of clear coat.

  • Best for visibly swirled or neglected paint

  • May require compounding and refining stages

  • Produces deeper clarity and cleaner reflections

  • Balances improvement with paint preservation

The goal: the greatest safe improvement—not reckless perfection.

READ THE FINISH

PAINT DEFECTS RANGE

FROM LIGHT TO SEVERE.

Sunlight and inspection lighting reveal the true condition of a finish. The type and

depth of the defects—not just the vehicle's age—determine which process is

appropriate.

LIGHT

Minor surface wear

Fine wash and towel marks

Minor swirls in direct light

Light oxidation or haze

Slight loss of gloss and clarity

Often suited to: Paint enhancement

MODERATE

Visible paint defects

Noticeable swirl marks

Light scratches and wash damage

Water-spot or organic etching

Improper machine-polishing marks

Often suited to: Paint correction

SEVERE

Deep or failing damage

Deep scratches or sanding marks

Heavy oxidation and etching

Damage through the clear coat

Peeling or failing paint

May require: Improvement only or refinishing

Not every defect can—or should—be completely removed. If safe removal would compromise the remaining clear coat, the

responsible choice is to reduce the defect and preserve the paint.

PAINT ENHANCEMENT

IT CLEANS AS IT POLISHES.

Paint enhancement is intended for paint that is generally healthy but needs more gloss, clarity, and richness before it is protected.

Using a refined combination of polish, polishing pads, and machine technique, the process cleans the finish as it polishes. It helps remove embedded staining, light oxidation, fine haze, and very minor surface imperfections.

Gloss

Brighter, cleaner reflections

Depth

Richer, more vibrant color

Preparation

A clean foundation for coating

The goal is improvement—not aggressive defect removal.

Enhancement does not chase every scratch or swirl. It creates a cleaner, brighter, coating-ready finish while keeping the process appropriately restrained.

PAINT CORRECTION

IT GOES BEYOND

ADDING SHINE.

Paint correction is a more intensive process used when swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, etching, or other visible defects require greater improvement.

Depending on the condition of the paint, correction may require a more aggressive compounding step followed by one or more refining-polish steps. Different machines, pads, and abrasives are selected to safely produce a clearer, more uniform finish.

01. Gloss

Condition, defect depth, and previous repairs

02. Correct

Level defects with controlled abrasion

03. Refine

Restore clarity and a high-quality finish

04. Protect

Apply ceramic coating to the prepared paint

WHICH SERVICE DOES YOUR VEHICLE NEED?

START WITH THE CONDITION. THEN CHOOSE THE GOAL.

CHOOSE ENHANCEMENT WHEN…

Your paint is healthy and you want it to look its best.

Ideal when your priority is restoring gloss, clarity, and color while preparing the finish for ceramic protection.

CHOOSE CORRECTION WHEN…

Visible defects are taking away from the vehicle.

Ideal when swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, or etching are visible and you want a higher level of refinement.

THE SUPERIOR SHINE APPROACH

Use the least aggressive process that achieves the right result.

Paint color, condition, age, previous repairs, and remaining clear-coat thickness all affect what is safely achievable.

READ THE FINISH

BEFORE YOU

PROTECT THE PAINT.

A coating preserves the finish beneath it, so the preparation deserves careful thought.

Will paint enhancement remove swirl marks?

It may reduce very fine swirls and haze, but defect removal is not its primary goal. If visible swirls are a major concern, paint correction is usually the better process.

Can paint correction remove every scratch?

No. Scratches that are too deep may be improved but left in place to preserve the clear coat. Damage through the paint requires touch-up or refinishing.

Does ceramic coating hide defects?

A ceramic coating adds gloss and protection, but it does not replace proper polishing. Visible defects should be addressed to the desired level before the coating is applied.

Why polish before applying a ceramic coating?

Polishing removes surface contamination and refines the appearance so the coating bonds to a properly prepared finish and protects the best version of the paint.
